Redavid Orchid Oil Collection Review

​​The Redavid Orchid Oil hair collection was developed by Canada's most celebrated hair Stylist Leonardo Redavid. Thanks to the wonderful team at Redavid hair, I had the opportunity to test out the entire Orchid Oil line!

​Redavid Orchid Oil Shampoo

This shampoo is enriched with vitamins, minerals and essential fatty acids to nourish the hair.

My experience with this shampoo was amazing, it left my curls clean without stripping it dry and added much needed moisture. It rinses clean, leaving no residue, just clean, nourished, fresh curls.

Redavid Orchid Oil Shampoo

This nourishing conditioner untangles, tames frizz and adds shine while delivering vitamins, minerals and fatty acids.

At first, when I applied this conditioner to my hair, I felt like it didn't have as much slip as I would like. However, after letting the conditioner work on my hair, I was quite impressed! It was easy to detangle my hair and my hair remained soft and moisturized after rinsing the product out. 

​Redavid Orchid Oil Dual Therapy

This two-part leave in power system moisturizes and repairs dry, damaged hair; mending split ends, eliminating tangles and amplifying shine.

Girlllll! this is one of my favourite products out of the complete collection. I love the shine and hydration this product gives my hair and without weighing it down! Blow drying my kinky curls is a breeze and cuts down drying time.  My hair is left smooth, light weight and lots of shine.

Redavid Orchid Oil Treatment

A daily treatment to tame and reduce frizzy, damaged hair, leaving curls smooth with radiant shine.

This product is another favourite of mine from the collection, a must have and a Redavid hair star product! The benefits of this lightweight non-greasy oil are endless. I love the look and feel of my hair this oil gives, hair is soft to the touch, frizz free, shiny and smells great!

I like to use the Redavid Orchid Oil Treatment a couple of ways:
1) as an overnight treatment on dry hair, for extra conditioning 
2) as a deep conditioning treatment by adding 1-2 pumps to the Redavid Orchid Oil conditioner and leaving it on my hair for 30 minutes with heat.
3) as a style refresher for added shine and frizz control.

Redavid Orchid Oil Curl Defining Creme

This rich, creamy, lightweight product tames your curls while adding definition, nourishment and radiant shine. Apply to damp hair and let your curls air dry or use a defuiser.  

I used this product a little bit differently and applied this styler on dry hair to create heatless, soft bouncy curls and it works wonderfully! my hair had incredible shine, soft hold and great definition without added weight to the hair.

Final verdict: These products are rich in unique, nourishing ingredients, luxurious quality, pleasant scent and beautifully packaged. I love the Redavid Orchid Oil collection; it works on all hair types and my favourites out of the collection are the Redavid Orchid Oil Dual Therapy and Orchid Oil Treatment.
